They may also dilate your pupils to see the structures inside your eyes. During the eye health evaluation, your doctor will be able to check the pressure in your eyes and can also identify eye and systemic diseases of which you may not be aware.
At the end of your eye exam, your optometrist will provide you with a prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses if you need them to see your best. They’ll also talk to you about any vision or eye health issues they may have discovered during the eye exam.
